  • Weekend Nanny Upper East side, NYC

    Bilingual Nanny (Friday-Sunday) for 1-year-old in the West Village with occasional travel to the Hamptons throughout the year and mainly during the month of June, July and August.

    We are seeking a responsible and nurturing nanny to care for our 1-year-old child on Fridays through Sundays. The ideal candidate should be bilingual in Spanish, as we value language development and would love our child to have exposure to both English and Spanish but this is not a must.. When we are in the city and not home late, Nanny can go home but many times will need someone to stay over Friday and Saturday night whether in the city or the Hamptons,

    Responsibilities:

    - Provide attentive and loving care for the child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

    - Engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate the child's cognitive, physical, and emotional development.

    - Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the child.

    - Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including their play area, bedroom, and other common areas used during childcare.

    - Assist with nap times, diaper changes, and potty training as necessary.

    - Plan and organize outings, playdates, and educational trips to enhance the child's experiences and social interactions.

    - Collaborate with the parents to establish and maintain consistent routines and discipline strategies.

    Requirements:

    - Previous long term experience as a nanny or in a childcare-related role, particularly with infants and toddlers.

    - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    - Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

    - Flexibility in working on weekends and occasional travel.

    - Bilingualism in Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.

    - Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

    Compensation: Competitive weekend rate, food and living expenses during the wekend provided.

  • Nanny Live In Wednesday-Sunday $100-$130k + DOE Upper East Side, NY

    We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced live-in nanny to provide exceptional care for two girls aged 8 and 11, residing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The position requires the nanny to be available from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday. The ideal candidate is able to live in as we both work late nights ( parents) so having someone home when we work late or travel is ideal.

    Responsibilities:

    - Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children, ensuring their well-being at all times.

    - Assist with morning routines, including preparing breakfast and getting the children ready for school.

    - Drop off and pick up the children from school, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.

    - Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational and recreational outings.

    - Help with homework assignments and provide academic support as needed.

    - Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children.

    - Supervise and assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization within the children's living areas.

    - Foster positive and meaningful relationships with the children, promoting their emotional and social development.

    - Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns or updates.

    - Collaborate and coordinate with other household staff, such as housekeepers.

    -Have a great sense of humor! We are a family that loves to laugh.

    Qualifications:

    - Proven experience working as a nanny or childcare provider, preferably with similar age groups.

    - Strong understanding of child development and ability to implement age-appropriate activities.

    - Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

    - Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.

    - Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

    - Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

    - Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.

    Compensation:

    The compensation for this position depends upon experience but is an annual rate of roughly $100,000 to $130k, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, the selected candidate will receive room and board in our home when they live in as part of the live-in arrangement. Several paid weeks off as children are in camp in the summer.
